was born in Aachen in 1971.
After graduating from Kings College London with
a Bachelor of Law (LLB) in 1994, Anna Stüler went on to complete
a two and a half year publishing apprenticeship at Verlag Klaus Wagenbach
in Berlin. This was followed by training as a marketing and PR consultant at K/Plex Design
and Sybille Dürkop Public Relations in Berlin and work for Groothuis, Lohfert, Consorten in Hamburg.

The worlds of marketing and books converged in 1998 with first opportunities for freelance editing and organisational work on books, specialising in the utilisation of books as marketing tools – for firms, freelance professionals and artists. This led to the foundation of trojan books in 2002 and lots of wonderful book projects.
